Do I get my own cgi-bin directory?

Yes, you will get a cgi-bin directory from which you can execute scripts.

What about ODBC databases?

ODBC databases are not included as part of your free FTP site. For a price quote please call tech support at 1.888.638.7867.

How will I build my shopping cart?

The building of your entire store is done using a very simple point and click, drag and drop online builder. A simple 8 step process is used for building your shopping cart.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, our ecommerce web hosting is completely free with your e-commerce Total Package. However, goEmerchant.com does charge for technical support calls relating to debugging scripts, FrontPage extensions or general use of FTP servers.

The cost for this technical support is $150 per incident. Each issue is handled until it is resolved. Additional unrelated issues will incur new charges.

Will I have to hire a web designer whenever I want to make changes to my site, or change a picture or add items to my online store?

No. You can add, delete, and change text, images, pages, directories and items in your store within your internet browser. Anyone can learn to do basic functions like changing text or pictures, etc. in about 5 minutes. You'll save lots of money being able to change or edit your site on your own!

How many products can I sell?

As many as you want. goEmerchant.com offers unlimited product upload and will not charge any extra processing fees.
